FAQ
Questions, answered properly
Everything travelers ask us about the run from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Palm Beach County. If your question is not here, the phone is answered around the clock.
How far is Palm Beach from Fort Lauderdale Airport?+
The island of Palm Beach is about 48 miles north of FLL, almost entirely via I-95. A private transfer typically takes 55 to 70 minutes door to door. Closer Palm Beach County destinations are quicker: Boca Raton is roughly 22 miles (25 to 40 minutes) and Delray Beach about 28 miles (32 to 45 minutes).
Why fly into FLL instead of Palm Beach International (PBI)?+
FLL offers far more nonstop routes and frequencies, and fares are often meaningfully lower. With a fixed-fare chauffeured transfer waiting at arrivals, the extra ground distance becomes a predictable, comfortable hour rather than a drawback. Many of our regular clients choose FLL deliberately for exactly this reason.
How much does a car service from FLL to Palm Beach cost?+
Fares are fixed and all-inclusive. Transfers to southern Palm Beach County (Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Manalapan, Lake Worth Beach) start at $89. Long-distance transfers to Palm Beach island, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Singer Island, North Palm Beach and Jupiter start at $129. Your exact quote is confirmed before you book, with tolls, airport parking and standard waiting time included.
What happens if my flight into FLL is delayed?+
Nothing you need to manage. We track every inbound flight and adjust the pickup automatically. Waiting time is included: 30 minutes on domestic arrivals and 60 minutes on international arrivals, measured from actual wheels-down, not the scheduled time.
Where does my chauffeur meet me at FLL?+
Meet and greet is included on every airport transfer. Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals area of your terminal holding a name sign, helps with luggage, and escorts you to the vehicle. FLL has four terminals; we confirm yours from the flight number so you never have to think about it.
Is the quoted fare really all-inclusive?+
Yes. The price you see covers the vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, highway tolls, airport fees and parking, standard waiting time, flight tracking, meet and greet, WiFi and bottled water. There is no surge pricing, no meter, and no seasonal surcharge, including during the Winter Equestrian Festival and tournament weeks.
Can you take me directly to a gated community or private club?+
Yes. Much of Palm Beach County lives behind a gate, from Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club to Admirals Cove and BallenIsles. We collect gate, guardhouse or estate-staff instructions at booking and confirm them with the chauffeur in advance, so the final hundred yards is as smooth as the first fifty miles.
Do you provide child seats?+
Infant, toddler and booster seats are available on request for a small fee; select them when booking so the vehicle arrives ready. Florida law requires appropriate restraints for children five and under, and we will not begin a trip without the correct seat installed.
Which vehicle should I choose for golf clubs or equestrian gear?+
For one or two travel bags, the Business SUV (six passengers, six bags) is the practical choice. Larger parties heading to PGA National or Wellington International often book the Luxury SUV or a Sprinter Van, which carries up to fourteen passengers with equipment. Every listed capacity is a real, tested figure, not an optimistic one.
Can I book a round trip or schedule my return to FLL in advance?+
Yes, and we recommend it. Select the round-trip option in the booking form and both legs are confirmed together at a fixed fare. For departures we calculate the pickup time from live traffic on I-95 plus your airline’s recommended check-in window, and we adjust if conditions change.
Do you operate during the equestrian and social season?+
Year-round, around the clock. Season, from roughly November through April, is our busiest period on the Wellington and Palm Beach routes, so we suggest booking a few days ahead for show weekends, polo finals, and gala nights. Pricing does not change with demand.
How do I pay, and can I get a receipt for expenses?+
Payment is taken securely online at booking; all major cards are accepted. You receive an immediate email confirmation and, after the trip, a receipt suitable for corporate expense systems. Gratuity can be added at booking or left to your discretion afterward.
